Creative Laboratory of Experiences

Welcome to our creative lab, where art, tourism design, muralism, audiovisual production, Storytelling, and Design Thinking converge. I co-create sustainable tourism experiences with local communities, using a human-centered approach to celebrate their heritage and empower them for the future.

Tourist experience design

I have co-created innovative and sustainable tourism experiences hand in hand with the local communities of Colombia by integrating storytelling, muralism, and audiovisual production. Using participatory methodologies and Design Thinking. }

My passion is to empower communities to craft visitor journeys that celebrate their heritage, foster collaboration, and deeply connect with their identity and aspirations.

Storytelling for Community Tourism

I create human-centered processes using landscapes as a didactic resource to connect with territories, reconstruct collective memory, and promote cultural and natural heritage through meaningful tourism experiences. This includes the creation of narratives and strengthening territorial interpretation.

This approach enables the creation of strategies for cultural appropriation by the local community, improving tourism experiences through a win-win dynamic.

Participatory Muralism

Muralism is not just visual art; it is a process of memory and reconciliation that invites communities to actively participate in designing murals that highlight their cultural heritage. Each mural becomes a collective work that not only enhances the territory but also contributes to the social appropriation of heritage.

The projects I design include muralism as a central element, with these murals becoming key pieces of the tourism experience. They invite visitors to immerse themselves in local history and identity while fostering intergenerational dialogue.

Community audiovisual production

Community audiovisual production is a collaborative process that brings together the tourism actors of the territory. This methodology not only teaches audiovisual techniques but also generates processes of media and tool appropriation, enabling local communities to authentically and effectively tell their stories.

The use of image plays a crucial role in storytelling, helping to highlight and make visible the identity and beauty of the territories.

Social Innovation for Ecotourism

This process not only transforms territories but also leads to a profound shift in how communities relate to their heritage and visitors. In the end, the lab has one core mission: to empower communities to manage their own tourism future and build a shared narrative that is rich in identity, creativity, and sustainability.
